  • Two-Stage Filtration: In stage 1, water flows through a 20" sediment filter cartridge, removing sediment, silt, sand, and dirt, extending the life of the water filters. In stage 2, water flows through granulated activated carbon (GAC), effectively removing a wide variety of organic contaminants.
  • Effective Adsorbent: GAC is recognized as an effective adsorbent for organic contaminants, including chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzene), pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's, and more.
